Humans have a brain which has a higher level of intelligence. It is one of the main reason which differentiates us from an animal. We can think, calculate and imagine which lacks in the animal.
The brain is one of the most complex organs of the human body which is made up of nearly 100 billion neurons and 100 trillion connections. It can be divided into two hemisphere- left and right brain. Roger W. Sperry won the novel prize for his split-brain research. He discovered that the human brain is of two hemispheres. Both brain look the same but hugely different since the way they process information are different. Sperry discovered to function as follow :
According to the theory of left brain and right brain dominance, there is a dominance of one hemisphere of the brain over another. For example, those people who are logical, sequential etc are believed to be left-mind people. And those who are artistic, imaginative are said to be right-minded people. But later research has shown that it is not true. The truth is that even though each hemisphere works differently, they are interdependent each other. They complement each other. They work together.

Knowing about the right brain and left the brain is very beneficial to us. We can solve our life problems more easily. We can direct our life in a way we want. We know how to be harmonious with the brain and make it work for us. All the work whether it is art, literature, invention or anything else, making both brains work together harmoniously can increase higher work efficiency.
